Written December 2005.

Another crime lays at my feet,
dog eats dog, each to each
I always say I did no harm
but just by saying so should raise some alarm.
'Cause even with no action made,
it can be a bold, bold statement to make

And I ain't gonna lie:
I'm more than willing to lie lie lie
lie lie lie

Set a fire on the arsonist's front step,
Shake my head to my friends saying,
"well, what did you expect?"
Sirens wail under a swollen sky,
hide below my window as the fire trucks rush by
An empty house is a home
A guilty soul is never alone

And I ain't gonna lie:
I'm more than willing to lie lie lie
lie lie lie

There is nothing wishy washy about it:
There is something fishy about him

A red herring threw me off
Stench of a can of sardines was somehow blocked
They kept slipping off his spoon
He still ate the stuff, fed me them too
I always wonder:  how he hid it so?
Turned into the most brilliant petty crime I've ever known

And I ain't gonna lie:
I'm more than willing to lie lie lie
lie lie lie
If you try try try
I'll be my alibi
alibyebye alibyebye
bye bye
bye bye

bye bye!!
